This is one of my smaller pieces. I love drawing with these colours, as the illusion of drawing the colour gold is made is by using many yellows, oranges and reds…not a single gold pencil in sight.

The first flamingo float I drew was when I was exploring different textures and captured the softness of the plastic.
With Flaminglow however, I love the juxtaposition between the soft material you would expect and the hard cold metal that the object actually is!
